Course Description

The overarching goal of this introductory business boot camp is to develop fundamental business skills and be able to apply them in a practical sense. Through this course, students will be introduced to the basics of business through an interdisciplinary perspective consisting of marketing, finance, and international business. Students will be able to identify a target market and use the 4P’s of marketing to promote value propositions. They will also be able to understand financial statements and how the financial world works, as well as how business works on a global scale. Throughout the course, we will learn to analyze these concepts through data and case studies. By the end of the boot camp, students will have a better understanding of the business world, and learn several critical skills.
