Course Description

You are about 1 cm taller in the morning when you first get up than when you go to bed. This is because, during the day the soft cartilage between your bones gets compressed! Did you know that? Do such facts interest you to study more about the human body? This course aims at providing an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of major human organ systems. The course will pace from the basics to the advanced, allowing learners at all levels in their learning to benefit from the same. Students will explore the implications of biological pathways and how they are controlled. They will not only learn the specifics about the way in which each system works but they will also be able to choose an additional topic that fascinates them and/or aligns with their future interests.
