Introduction to Ecology and Conservation

Want to learn what it takes to combat climate change? Start here. This course will provide a foundational understanding of ecology fundamentals along with keys to impactful conservation efforts. Each class will begin and/or end with a case study highlighting the importance of the content taught in the class. Students will learn how to apply their knowledge to real-world situations to affect change and can look forward to learning about topics ranging from distribution patterns to the economical and sociopolitical nuances behind effective conservation work.
